Genesis 1:27
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
A man needs a wife.
Genesis 2:15
And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.A wife needs a faithful husband.
Mark 10:2-9
Some Pharisees came up to Jesus, testing Him, and began to question Him whether it was lawful for a man to divorce a wife. 3 And He answered and said to them, “What did Moses command you?” 4 They said, “Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce and send her away.” 5 But Jesus said to them, “Because of your hardness of heart he wrote you this commandment. 6 But from the beginning of creation, God made them male and female. 7 For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother, 8 and the two shall become one flesh; so they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9 What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.”Malachi 2:16
16 “For the man who does not love his wife but divorces her, says the Lord, the God of Israel, covers his garment with violence, says the Lord of hosts. So guard yourself in your spirit. And don’t break your promise.Children need a mother and a father.
